Hi! My name is Miriam and I’m a sophomore at UCLA, attending online classes for the foreseeable future. It’s hard to adhere to the guidelines that have completely upended our lives, but I find it easier when I remember that I’m not just doing this to keep myself safe. I wear a mask for my family, I social distance for the health of my neighbors, and I started SF Strong because I know that all of us can do more to keep each other safe.

Hi! My name is Emma and I’m a third year at Hamline University in St Paul, MN.  I am majoring in Marketing and Studio Arts, with a focus in Printmaking.  In my free time, I am an avid gardener, hiking enthusiast, and dog/cat mom. I love exploring nature in the Denver, CO area, where I am currently based. Being part of SF Strong has allowed me to use my creativity and business knowledge to help the community I grew up in from a distance. I work with an amazing group of talented students who are all dedicated to the safety of San Francisco. 

Hey! My name is Athena, and I’m a junior at the Urban School of San Francisco. I joined SF Strong because I want to promote safe and effective COVID-19 practices during this pandemic. I’m excited to get started with this group, and I hope to spread awareness about staying safe and healthy at this time.

Hi, my name is Sarah! I attend Marin Catholic High School in Marin County. In my spare time, I love to dance, participate in service and leadership, and hang out with my family and friends. I joined SF Strong because I want to promote safety guidelines in the San Francisco community, collaborate with a group who wants to make a difference, and keep everyone united during these tough times.

Hi! My name is Alex, and I’m a rising third year at UCLA studying political science and cognitive science. I was inspired to join SF Strong because I wanted to help people feel connected to their communities and friends, even at a time when we have to stay socially distant. 

Hello! I’m Jessica and I’m a soon-to-be sophomore at UC Berkeley. I joined SF Strong to do my part to promote solidarity and safety during these difficult times. Even though we all must physically separate, there is a lot we can do to foster community and encourage our neighbors to put in the work to keep themselves and others safe.

Hi! My name is AJ, and I’m a student at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco. I love to play basketball competitively and am a recreational golfer and fencer. I recently earned my Inspirit Artificial Intelligence Scholar certificate and created a web app that helps detect skin cancer using machine learning and machine vision. I was inspired to join SF Strong because I am passionate about making an impact in my community, doing meaningful work, and focusing my time where I can make a difference.

Hello! My name is Christina and I am the newest member of the SF Strong Outreach team. I currently attend Marin Catholic high school in Marin County. In my free time, I am heavily involved in the arts such as singing and playing new instruments, and I love taking in new and unique leadership roles. I joined SF Strong because I want to be able to use my voice and be a part of a team that is all striving to help the community overcome the struggles of the pandemic.

Hi! My name is Kinga and I’m a junior at Carleton College majoring in sociology and public policy. I love SF Strong because it has brought together an incredible group of interns who are working towards the health of the community. Being part of SF Strong had brought me (virtual) community and I hope that our posters can do the same for others.

Hi, my name is Sabrina! I’m an incoming freshman at UC Irvine. In my spare time, I like to sew and watch YouTube videos! I joined SF Strong because being a part of an organization that encourages others to follow health guidelines amidst the pandemic, gave me a way to stay connected to my community during a time when we are all isolated from one another.  

Hello! My name is SJ and I’m a third year student at Boston University studying Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In my free time I enjoy going to local parks and museums, baking or cooking, and watching movies!
